Brewer and founder of local craft brewery Novo Sul Brewery, Carlos Rodrigues is joining us at the coworking to share his knowledge — and of course, his beers.
During the session, we’ll explore the basics of craft beer, from ingredients to brewing techniques, while tasting a selection of different styles brewed locally in Albufeira. Carlos will guide you through the process, share insights behind each beer, and create space for questions and conversation.
Expect a relaxed and social evening, meeting new people while enjoying good beer and discovering something new.
No prior knowledge needed — just come as you are and enjoy the experience.

Say olá to your brewer host Carlos!
Carlos Rodrigues is the founder and brewer behind Novo Sul Brewery, a small craft brewery based in Albufeira. His interest in craft beer began around 2013–2014, brewing at home with friends and later studying brewing in Belgium.
He went on to deepen his knowledge through formal training in brewing science, before returning to the Algarve after nearly a decade in Lisbon to start Novo Sul brewery as a personal project.
Today, he produces small batches of beer locally, with a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, contributing to the growing craft beer scene in Albufeira.
