We’re switching things up for this month’s Creative Sunday – and bringing it to Saturday instead. Join us for a hands-on Glass-on-glass mosaic workshop, hosted by stained glass artist Liza from The Glass House Algarve!
This 3-hour session invites you to dive into the colourful world of glass-on-glass mosaics – a technique where small pieces of stained glass are arranged and glued onto a clear glass base to form a vibrant, light-catching design. You’ll be guided through the process of creating your own unique piece, using beautiful stained glass offcuts and a 15 x 15 cm glass tile as your canvas.
No pressure, this is for beginners. All materials provided – just bring yourself and a curious mind.

Important!
Grouting takes place after the session, as the glue needs time to fully dry – usually around 4 days. You’re welcome to return to Albufeira Coworking for a quick follow-up session to grout your piece, or if you’re leaving the area, we’ll happily provide a small tub of white grout for you to take home and complete it yourself.

Liza is a stained glass artisan originally from the south of England, now based in the Western Algarve running The Glass House Algarve. She has been working with stained glass for many years, creating vibrant, light-filled pieces inspired by the natural beauty and big skies of the region. Liza has hosted countless workshops over the years, sharing her passion and expertise with beginners and enthusiasts alike.
