Hike Passadiço Barranco do Dem

This Sunday, join us for a hike on the Barranco do Demo Walkway, a stunning new trail near Monchique. Opened in late 2023, this 6.5 km route connects Alferce and Fornalha, offering wooden staircases, lush greenery, and even a hanging bridge!

Located just 50 minutes from Albufeira, this moderately challenging trail takes about 2.5 hours to complete and is perfect for disconnecting from the everyday. We’ll carpool to the trailhead for convenience, so all you need are comfortable walking shoes, snacks, plenty of water, and a sense of adventure.
